What to Do If You Missed an Alert

Missing an alert is a common situation, especially for busy people. Here's how to deal with this situation:

1) Evaluating the Time Elapsed. If you missed the alert by just a few hours, it's likely you can still act on it. If a full trading day or more has passed, check if the signal is still relevant.

2) Analyzing the Relevance of the Alert.

  • Missed Entry Alert: If the price has risen by more than 3-4% since the alert, it's better to wait for the next alert
  • Missed Exit Alert: It's almost always recommended to execute the exit even with a delay, unless there has been a dramatic improvement in market conditions

3) Preventing Missing Alerts in the Future. Set up at least 2-3 different alert channels, make sure alerts reach different devices, and set up recurring reminders.
